About us

The network was formed in March 2022 in response to the growing number of people fleeing Ukraine. Since then, we have  re-homed over 150 Ukrainians in Berkhamsted, Tring and surrounding villages, many of which are women and children.

The network is run by a volunteer committee. are supporting them in a number of ways including English lessons, sourcing clothes and school uniform, as well as practical help such as opening a UK bank account and registering at the GP’s.

We have a number of ways you can get involved, including donating much needed funds to support our initiatives, donating clothes, shoes, toiletries and toys for our new neighbours and volunteering your time at our weekly meet-ups, the Free Shop or assisting our English teachers during their lessons.

If you’re interested in getting involved, please email us and a member of the team will get back to you.
