In March 2022, with growing numbers of Ukrainians fleeing their country, The Berkhamsted and Tring Hosting Network (BATUHN ) was formed. Since then, we have rehoused over 150 Ukrainians in our local area, many of whom are children.

This fund supports both hosts and Ukrainian guests throughout their Homes for Ukraine journey, through initiatives run by the network. These currently include free weekly English lessons for the guests, weekly coffee mornings and social events including: Service of Reflection on the Anniversary of the War and Christmas Party.

BATUHN is run by Seven community volunteers which includes a Ukrainian guest and we have no admin costs or overheads, so 100% of your contribution will go to where it is most needed.
